Google Assistant is rolling out to major android devices with nougat and marshmallows through OTA update

Google announced that Google Assistant will be available to all smartphones with marshmallow and nougat. Previously it was available only to  pixel smartphones. It is now rolling out through OTA update via google play services and can be deployed in every device that are running marshmallow and nougat.
Some of the major smartphones are getting Google Assistant through google play services from Friday.
Follow the steps below to get google assistant running in your device

Go to the link and sign up for google play services beta.

It may take few minutes to process your request.

Now, download the latest version of the Google app 6.14.25.21. If  6.14.25.21 is not available in your country then download the apk file from http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-search/google-search-6-14-16-release/

After the installation is completed,  restart your device.

Still if you don’t get the assistant then clear cache of google app
– Go to settings
– Apps
– Google
– Storage
– clear cache
